Middle School Celebrates World Languages

The ESK middle school held its third annual World Languages Chapel on Tuesday. The World Language department has been planning this Chapel service for the last three years as a holiday treat for all those in attendance. In additions to all the lessons and prayers being in the respective languages, each language prepared a Christmas carol to share with the group. Mandarin Chinese students opened with their rendition of “S-A-N-T-A,” followed by “El Burrito Sabanero” (The little donkey of Savannah) from the Spanish students. As a special treat this year, one of group of students performed the sign language to “Silent Night.” The Latin students closed out the chapel with “Adeste Fideles” (Come All Ye Faithful). Special thanks to Maestra Sharpe, Maestra Rojas, Mr. Gleason, Mrs. Letsinger and Mrs. Huang for preparing this special Chapel service and all the students for their preparation. This is a fun annual tradition for ESK!
