Our Junior Kindergarten program is an academic program designed for 3- and 4-year-olds. The JK-4 program is five days per week and the JK-3 program offers a three- (T, W, Th) or five-day option. The junior kindergarten day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided, and extended care (1:30 – 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.) is available for an addtional fee. Class size is limited to 16 students for Junior Kindergarten 3, and 18 for Junior Kindergarten 4.
Our junior kindergarten class is able to learn more about their faith and explore the faith of others during daily chapel. We help develop children’s personal confidence as they grow.
Academic goals and objectives are met by careful planning and building on what each individual can do while challenging a student to reach just beyond their comfort zone. The teacher’s role is to co-explore and co-construct the learning experience with the children.

The goal of the music program is to begin to build a lifelong love and appreciation for music. Students are exposed to the classics, contemporary and multicultural music. In the classroom, they will sing, move and play many varied classroom instruments. Students will begin the study of reading music, analyzing performances and creating their own melodies through improvisation.
