ESK Volleyball Wins KISL Championship
The ESK varsity volleyball team entered this past week’s KISL tournament as the No. 2 seed and with an undefeated 19-0 record. After wins against St. Joseph’s School and Christian Academy of the Smokies, the Saints faced off against CAK in the championship game Friday afternoon. After falling in the first set 25-21, ESK stormed back to take the second set 25-23. The Saints won the first two points of the third set and didn’t look back, securing the championship and their undefeated season with a 15-10 win. ESK finished the year with a perfect 22-0 record. Eighth graders Brynn Buckberry and Alisa Elmore earned all-league honors while seventh graders Isabella Raman and Catherine Sweeney were named to the all-tournament team. Sixth grader Bellamy Parker was named tournament MVP. Congratulations on a great season!
