ESK Celebrates Halloween

Halloween at The Episcopal School of Knoxville is always one for the books. From students to faculty, everyone gets into the holiday spirit. The annual Halloween parade was held Monday morning in the parking lot next to the Brewington Family Lower school as Head of School Dr. Jack Talmadge called different categories of costumes to the center of the circle. Categories included food, animals, storybook characters, super heroes, princesses and many more. It’s such a fun time for the rest of the student body to see the creative costumes their classmates come up with. This year, members of the ESK faculty dressed up as characters from The Wizard of Oz. To fit the theme, even the halls of the middle school turned into the streets of the Emerald City. Students celebrated throughout the day with classroom parties hosted by parents. On Tuesday, ESK students will celebrate Holy Eucharist in honor of All Saints Day. These special Chapel services will close out this special time of celebration. A special thanks goes out to all those parents who joined ESK for the festivities!
