String Band Holds Spring Concert
The ESK String Band hosted a concert Wednesday, April 20, in Googe Hall. Instructor Ed Wing led the 6th, 7th and 8th Grade classes as they played pieces ranging from “Ode to Joy” and “Little Indians” to “Rock Form 2” and “Hallelujah.” ESK alumni Eli Fox treated the crowd to a performance of “Mountain Dew,” which is featured on his recently released CD “Nothing to Say.” All three groups came together to close out the evening with “Wagon Wheel.” The concert was a treat. Great job to all the students!
