Theatre Camp “Beauty and the Beast” 

Open to rising 1st to 6th graders

June 4-8, 2018 / 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. (includes lunch)


Enjoy the music, characters and excitement of “Beauty and the Beast” this June. Early arrival at 8 a.m. Performance on Friday at 11:30 am, with a potluck luncheon to follow.


A Cappella Camp

Open to rising 6th to 9th graders

June 4-8, 2018 / 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (includes lunch)


Participants will learn many skills including solo techniques, arranging, choreography, and vocal percussion.


Preschool Camp

Open to ages 3-5 **All campers must be potty trained**

We Got Game!  ESK All Sports and Game Camp

Open to rising kindergarten to 5th graders

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with early drop off at 8 a.m.

$250 per week (includes 2 daily snacks, lunch and a camp t-shirt)


Are you ready to get in the game?  Do you want to “Bend it Like Beckham,” in soccer, or shoot an arrow like Robinhood?  Can you sink your opponents ship in the gym version of “Battleship?”  Join ESK P.E. teacher, Marsha Brophy and special guest instructors to improve sport skills and to engage in favorite P.E. games.  Bring your “A” game to this energizing camp that will keep you moving and having fun.

Art Camp

Open to rising 5th to 8th graders

9-11 a.m.

$250 per week


Join ESK middle school art teacher Philip Hoffman in June for a variety of different art camps featuring everything from ceramics to screen printing.


June 4-8: Ceramics/Pottery – Students will learn the basics of using a pottery wheel and sculpting with clay

June 11-15: Drawing – This class will focus on drawing figures based on various source materials, using pencil, charcoal and other materials

June 18-22: Carving – Students will use balsa and ESP foam to practice the subtractive process

June 25-29: Screen Printing – Students will learn basic screen printing techniques and then have the chance to create their own design for a shirt.


Mission to Mars Camp

Open to rising 2rd to 4th graders

June 11-15 / 9 a.m.-12 p.m.



Blast off with us for the Mission to Mars STEAM Camp, the engineering summer camp curriculum will blend engineering challenges, literacy, and the arts to teach the engineering design process and discover the mysteries of the red planet. Students will compete in engineering challenges and complete Martian art projects during the week-long Mars curriculum.


Creative Writing Camp

Open to rising 2nd to 5th graders

June 18-22 / 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

$175  (or stay from 10:00-3:30 and do Creative Writing, lunch, and Kitchen Concoctions for $300)


This camp is for anyone who wants extra writing practice, has a project already in the works, or just wants to learn new creative writing techniques.The daily workshop will include activities to stimulate creativity, tips that can be applied to a variety of genres, and tips for keeping up with writing practice throughout the summer. Campers will get a journal and a pen, plus published story to take home!


Kitchen Concoctions

Open to rising 2nd to 5th graders

June 18-22 / 1:00-3:30 p.m.

$175  (or stay from 10:00-3:30 and do Creative Writing, lunch, and Kitchen Concoctions for $300)


For anyone who likes to create in the kitchen and wants to learn something new this summer! Daily themes include: Scrumptious Science with edible experiments, STEM Challenges using food items, Savory Stories paired with culinary creations, Cupcake and Cookie Crafts (learn basic decorating techniques), and Edible Slime.  These are just a few of the things in store for this delicious summer camp!


Minecraft & Maker Camp

Open to rising 5th to 8th graders

July 9-13


Spend a week in the world of technical creativity at ESK’s new Innovation Lab. Minecraft and Maker Camps are offered as a half-day or full-day experience for students in rising 5th to 8th grade.


●      Minecraft – The morning sessions (9 a.m. to noon) focuses on the ins and outs of Minecraft design and fun. Students need to provide their own Minecraft license & device. ($200)

●      Maker Camp – The afternoon session (1-4 p.m.) allows students to let their imagination fly in the Innovation Lab. Using skills and materials that require out-of-the-box thinking, students will design a plethora of solutions to many fun and exciting challenge activities. ($200)


Stay the full day for $350! (includes lunch and free time)


Acoustic “Jam” Camp

Open to rising 4th to 9th graders

July 9-13 / 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

$275 (includes lunch and other “picken” treats)


Whether you have no experience or plenty, come “jam” with fellow pickers and stringers at this acoustic music camp. Led by the world traveling group musician, Keith Yoder and company, students will receive differentiated instruction on their string instrument, perform in small group concerts, and “jam” away in some lively open sessions with other musicians.


Video Game Design & Strategic Thinking Camp

Open to rising 4th to 8th graders

June 11-15 and/or June 18-22 / 1-6 p.m.

$250 per week or $400 for both weeks


Camp benefits include enjoying your gaming experience on ten 50″ TVs with consoles and controllers supplied. Drinks and snacks provided for all campers. $100, $50, and $25 GIFT CARDS FOR TOP COMPETITORS! Also, guest speakers to inform students on how they developed their own video games.


We will also be recreating our own real life strategic thinking games in the gymnasium to incorporate fitness, strategy, etc. Only 20 challengers per week so be one of the first to sign up.



Summer Math with Mrs. Quaint

Open to rising 6th to 8th graders

Every Tuesday from June 5 to July 31 (no meeting July 3rd)



Students will complete the ESK summer math requirement, as well as preview next year’s book.


Rising 6th: 8-9 a.m.

Rising 7th: 9-10 a.m.

Rising 8th: 10-11 a.m.

The camp will focus on completing the summer math booklets and include reinforcement of skills through games.

Science Fair Boot Camp

Open to rising 6th & 7th graders

Every Tuesday from June 5 to July 31 (no meeting July 3rd)



Rising 7th grade: 8-9 a.m.

Rising 6th grade: 9-10 a.m.


During this boot camp with MS science teacher Wendy Teffeteller, students will complete all components for science fair (including the experiment and ISEF paperwork), except the research paper that is due before Christmas Break. Students will build the display board and have a binder of completed assignments ready to turn in during Term 2.


Portfolio Camp

Open to rising ESK 8th graders

Every Tuesday from June 5 to July 31 (no meeting July 3rd)

9-10 a.m.


Students will work on their portfolio projects, brainstorming, researching, etc.
